The capital city in cooperation with Immocap Group development company continues the reconstruction of Trnavské mýto subway on schedule. As per the Building Authority’s decision, reconstructed parts of the underpass will soon be opened to the public, while other parts are then closed for work. This is the last phase of the reconstruction, and Bratislavans will soon enjoy a modern, safe and barrier-free subway.

Subway entrances that have been closed for reconstruction will be open from 8 April, including platform no. 1, platform no. 2, and entrance no.1 to the subway from the New Market side. According to the plan, this ends an important part of the subway’s renovation.

„We are pleased that the work is proceeding according to schedule and we can move on to the next phase of the Trnavské mýto subway renovation. Bratislava residents will soon have a modern, safe and barrier-free subway,” said Martin Šramko, CEO of Immocap Group.

The subway work will necessitate temporary restrictions, communicated via clear infographics at Trnavské mýto. Platform no. 3, entrance to subway no. 2 (Istropolis), entrance no.3 (Vajnorská), and entrance no.4 (CENTRAL) will close temporarily from 9 April.

The restrictions are aimed at ensuring maximum safety, with alternative routes agreed with transport experts, Bratislava Transport Company, Municipal Police, and Regional Transport Inspectorate. The routes were also approved by the Operational Commission for traffic signs and traffic facilities of the magistrate. Bratislava city and Immocap Group request that citizens use alternative routes to ensure safety.
